My name is Annalucia Fernandes and I am a high school senior, currently living in Austin, Texas. Art and Graphic Design are my true passions, and I hope to pursue a career in Graphic Design. I am currently applying to Universities to do a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Graphic Design.
Many of my electives at school have been/are creative or art-based courses. In my sophomore year I did Art I, Graphic Design I, and Digital Media. In junior year, my electives included Art II: Drawing, Graphic Design II, Audio Visual Design, and Fashion Design. I am currently in my senior year of high school and am taking two Advanced Placement Art courses, one in Drawing and the other in 2-D Design. I am also currently taking a school elective in Art II: Photography.
In addition to my art and graphic design, I spend much of my spare time doing other creative hobbies. I love fashion design, both fashion illustration and construction, and I also have a great passion for music.
I play the acoustic and electric guitar, and love listening to many genres of music. My favorite music is probably Brit Pop / Manchester Sound, as I have been heavily influenced by my family’s roots (many of my relatives live in Manchester, UK). I also love learning about world news and events. I take a great interest in history, enjoy photography, and I have a real appreciation of nature.
During my free time, if I’m not painting or drawing, or on my guitar I’d be likely on a nature trail with my 3 younger siblings and our loveable golden retriever, Kenzie 🙂
